Build your first quote calculator in 10 minutes

4 min read

Setting up a calculator takes about ten minutes. You don't need to code: you build it in your browser and then paste one line of code on your site. Here's every step.

  1. 1Pick a template
  2. 2Adjust questions & prices
  3. 3Publish
  4. 4Paste on your site

1. Start from a template

In your dashboard click 'New calculator' and pick a template for your trade (tree care, painting, cleaning, web design). It already has sensible questions and pricing, so you're not starting from scratch.

Prefer full control? Choose 'Blank calculator' and build your own questions.

2. Adjust questions and prices

In the builder you see your steps and questions on the left, the selected question's settings in the middle, and a live preview on the right. Edit the text, enter your own prices and drag questions into the order you want.

  • Change or remove questions that don't fit you.
  • Set a pricing rule per answer (fixed amount, per unit, tiered or surcharge).
  • On the Theme tab, set your colors, logo and font.

3. Publish

Click 'Publish'. From then on the published version is live; you can keep editing safely without visitors seeing your draft - changes only go live when you publish again.

4. Put it on your website

Go to the 'Embed' tab and copy the snippet. Paste it on your website where the calculator should appear. It works on any site. Want details? Read the embedding guide.

Done - what's next?

As soon as a visitor fills in the calculator, you get a complete request in your inbox and your leads overview. The checklist on your dashboard guides you until your first request arrives.
