Privacy policy

Quotira is a trade name of Dennis Websolutions, based in Ede, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 92593704 ("we"). We provide software that lets service businesses put a quote calculator on their website. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, how long we keep it and the rights you have under the GDPR.
Two roles
- Controller for the data of our own users (account holders).
- Processorfor the data end customers enter into our users' calculators (leads). For that data the calculator owner is the controller; we process it solely on their behalf.
Data we process
From account holders
- Name, email address and password (stored encrypted)
- Business name, logo and calculator settings
- Payment details via Stripe - we never store card numbers
- Technical logs (IP address, timestamp) for security
From end customers (leads, on behalf of our users)
- Contact details and answers the end customer submits themselves (name, email, phone, message, any uploaded photos)
- Submission origin (page URL, campaign source)
- Anonymous calculator usage statistics (views, completed steps) - without profiling individual visitors
Why we process this data
- Providing and securing the service (performance of contract)
- Billing and accounting (legal obligation)
- Forwarding quote requests to the calculator owner (performance of contract)
- Abuse prevention such as spam and bot detection (legitimate interest)
Sub-processors
- Supabase - database, authentication and file storage
- Stripe - payment processing
- Resend - transactional email (lead notifications)
- Hostinger - hosting (VPS)
Data processing agreements are in place with all of these providers. Where data is processed outside the EEA, this happens under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
We only use functional cookies: a session cookie for signing in and a cookie that remembers your language preference. We set no tracking or advertising cookies, which is why you won't see a cookie banner. Any visitor statistics are measured cookie-free and anonymously.
Retention
- Account data: for as long as the account exists. Deleting your account permanently erases all data, including leads.
- Leads: until the calculator owner deletes them or their account is closed.
- Billing records: 7 years (statutory retention).
- Security logs: at most 90 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data. Account holders can delete their account and all associated data themselves in the settings. If you submitted a quote request to a business using Quotira, please direct your request to that business first - we will assist them in handling it.
